Something that both my mom and I enjoy doing is buying children’s books for ourselves. We both have quite the collection.
One of my favorite children’s Christmas books is Stranger in the Woods by Carl R. Sams II and Jean Stoick (husband and wife team). The photography in this book is so incredible. I just can’t imagine how much time the photographer had to sit and wait in the snow to get those pictures. So next time you are in your local bookstore, walk on back to the kids section and take a look at the Christmas display, you may find a treasure to take home for yourself, you don’t have to have kids to enjoy kids books!
Dear readers: Please excuse my long absence from blogging. In October I developed some Christmas ornament designs and happily Etsy buyers seem to love them. I have been spending every waking hour that I am not working, sewing them. I do have a plan to keep myself blogging more without taking too much time from my sewing.
